The animation shows Surface temperature in Fahrenheit at 2 meters forecast from the WRF model at a resolution of 3 km for the Long Island Sound and 1 km for New York City. The 72 hr (3 days) forecast is produced on a daily basis. The user can select the specific days to see the predictions for the different weather variables in the drop-down menu


The prediction is generated by the research group Coastal-Urban Environmental Research Group (CUERG) from City College of New York.
